The Champion of All Ages

13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] Philippians 4:13 AMP

Greetings friends,

On Sunday, February 27, 2022, I was in church worshiping the Lord when the worship team began playing a prophetic song. With my eyes closed, I was focusing on the beautiful melody coming forth when I began to hear words that fit the beat of the music. I pulled out my phone and began typing the words into my phone. I got about three stanzas written when the music wound down. At that point, I put away my phone to focus on the message God was bringing forth from the pulpit. as the week unfolded, the Lord began waking me up at 5am in the mornings. Over the course of the week, as I spent time listening each morning, God gave me additional stanzas to the above-mentioned poem.
You should know that I’m not in the habit of writing poetry. However, ALL things are possible through Christ’s Spirit Who resides within each one of us. As His children, God uses us to call those things that are not, as though they are, to bring the riches of Heaven into the earthly realm. That is, what I believe to be, the purpose of this poem. Therefore, out of obedience to Him, I am releasing this poem for all the world to see. Please read it, share it and declare it in order that God may use it to bring more of His goodness, justice and salvation to the earth and to the peoples therein.

The Champion of All Ages

Jesus, You’re the Champion of the ages

Champion on all of these chaotic world’s stages.

As the war on evil crescendos and rages,

You challenge the enemy and all of his sages.

You’ve won the war over sin and shame.

Jesus, in You, there’s no more blame.

This was the reason why You came;

To deliver us all from sin’s evil claims

You have deliverance and healing in Your wings.

You rule over every single created thing.

You alone are the eternal, almighty King

Who freed us from death, hell and grave’s evil sting.

You reign on high far above earthly skies.

You open our darkened and blinded, closed eyes.

You keenly expose all our enemy’s lies.

No matter how hard he obstinately tries,

He can no longer fearfully and auspiciously hide.

As evil rises and the fierce war rages,

Jesus, You’re the Lord Who fearlessly engages

the enemies of justice who parade deceiving faces.

You’re the authentic Star on the world’s fake stages.

Your wisdom is above all other sages.

That’s why You, alone, control the annal’s pages.

You inspire Your army to be nothing but courageous.

And, as we follow You, our success becomes truly outrageous.

As the evil ones plan their grand upheaval,

And Satan goes forward unleashing his evil;

Your judgement begins with the sound of Your gavel.

And the enemy’s plans begin to unravel.

Your brilliant maneuvers continue to reveal;

What Satan had planned to kill and to steal,

You have resolved to restore and to heal.

Their damaged camps make Your enemies reel.

The night turns to light as You enter the fight.

Twilight reveals the enemy’s plight.

The light of Your glory is a beautiful sight;

Its dawning confirms the end of the night.

As evil is vanquished by Your unequaled might,

You emerge as Victor of this great and long fight

Freedom from evil tyranny RING!!

GLORY to our victorious King!!

With thankful hearts we praise and sing

Glory to Jesus, Lord of everything!

You’re firmly seated on Your throne undefeated.

The sacrifice of Your blood need not be repeated.

Therefore, we know our enemies are unseated

And the victory’s at hand and already completed

In the annals of Ages,

Jesus, You alone, write the pages

You remain, of all sages,

The Champion of all Ages
